Email Fraud

It has come to our attention that there has been instances of fraudulent emails that have been received by members of our parish and others in the Archdiocese which appear to be coming from offices or agencies affiliated with the Archdiocese of Toronto. Please be aware that there are many phishing scams and fraudulent emails that are cleverly disguised and may look like they are official. Any correspondence from either the Church or the Archdiocese of Toronto will always come from an email that ends with "archtoronto.org". If a supposed "Church" email comes from an address that does not come from the "archtoronto.org" server, please do not open it. If you are at all suspicious, do not open the email. You can always confirm with the parish if it indeed is a legitimate email. Be aware and keep your information safe and protected.
