Novena to St. John-  Begins December 18th

Publié : Dec-17-2024

Our Patron saint is St. John the Evangelist (Also know as St. John the Apostle and St. John the Beloved). His feast day is 2 days after Christmas on December 27, so unfortunately, it sometimes gets lost in the hustle and bustle of Christmas.

This year, his feast day falls on a Friday. Perhaps consider joining us for Mass and Holy Hour on Friday, December 27th at 9:00 a.m.   It's a nice way to not only celebrate our patron, but also to get some quiet and peaceful time after the hustle and bustle of Christmas.

If you can't join us, please join in praying the Novena to St. John.

Do you know what a Novena is? A Novena is a prayer that is prayed 9 days before a Solemnity or Feast day. Perhaps you remember that in September, we prayed the Novena to St. Michael as we anticipated the feast day of the patron of our Archdiocese. The Novena for St. John starts tomorrow, December 18th. The Novena is posted here, and is said every day until December 27th. Please join!
