Palm Sunday

Hosanna to the Son of David, the King of Israel!  Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the Highest!

Today begins Holy Week- the pinnacle week for all those who believe in Jesus Christ.  We begin today by greeting our Saviour and King with loud joy and Hosannas, only to be replaced by the sombre story that follows - the betrayal, mockery, condemnation and ultimately, the death of this same Saviour and King that was greeted with much excitement and joy.  

Spend some time today, and every day this week, reflecting on the meaning of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ.  Perhaps find some time this week to watch the "Passion of the Christ" or "Jesus of Nazareth", and have that visual in your mind of what Christ truly did for us.
