A monstrance with Our Lord in the Eucharist

In thanksgiving and to honour our Lord in the Eucharist we will have a Holy Hour and, weather permitting, a procession on Sunday, June 22nd after the Thanksgiving reception for the ordination of Br. Martin Ngo beginning at 2:00 p.m. to celebrate the gift of the Eucharist which is the centre and the origin of the life of the Church.  This Holy Hour is one of adoration where we acknowledge Christ's True Body in the Eucharist.  It begins in the Church with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and will include a procession outside around the Parking Lot, to an outdoor altar in the Parish Cemetery and to the an outdoor altar in the School Yard.  It is truly beautiful that Our Lord in His True Presence will be able to be adored at both the Church and School.

The Holy Hour will end in the Church with quiet time, the Litany of the Sacred Heart and Benediction.  Please come and join in the procession.  If it is something you have never done before, you are invited to experience this beautiful hour in prayer and to invite others to come with you.   We especially invite those who have just made their First Holy Communion to serve as special escorts for the Blessed Sacrament.  We hope to see you there as we worship the true Body of Christ in the Eucharist as a community.
