Fr. Maderak's 30th anniversary of ordination

Approximately 30 years ago, on May 13, 1995 (Feast of Our Lady of Fatima) Fr. Maderak and 7 of his classmates were ordained to be priests in the Archdiocese of Toronto. Through the grace of God, all 7 are still active in the Archdiocese of Toronto.

We missed Fr. Maderak's 25th Silver Jubilee of his Ordination to the Priesthood due to the Covid lockdowns- everything, including the Churches, were shut down during this monumental anniversary. Since we missed that anniversary, we will be celebrating with joy, Fr. Maderak's 30th anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood. Fr. Maderak will be at the yearly priest retreat for his actual anniversary, so we will celebrate his vocation the weekend before.

We the staff of St. John the Evangelist Parish, invite you to the Vigil Mass at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 which will be a Mass of Thanksgiving for 30 years of Priesthood. This will be followed by a reception in the Church hall where you can greet Fr. Maderak personally and enjoy food and fellowship!
