In Fr. Maderak's Homily today, he mentioned an Apostolic Constitution by Pope Paul VI on Penance, particularly of Fasting and Abstinence.  It is a good practice to know what the Church teaches and what Popes have said on these matters.  Fasting and Abstinence is a practice of the Church that has not changed and should be continued during Lent and wherever prescribed.   Read on by clicking below:
