CHRIST THE KING

On the Solemnity of Christ the King, may I suggest a reading of the two paragraphs quoted during the homily.  The first paragraph was the introduction to the Encyclical Quas Primas, by Pope Pius XI, which pointed out the reason for the institution of this Solemnity.  The second paragraph mentioned was  #33 in the same Encyclical, which gives us a wonderful point of reflection on the Kingship of Christ in our life.
