This week in his homily, Father spoke to us about a young man who is one step away from becoming a Saint. Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati died in his early twenties, but made a big impact in his community- particularly among the poor. He care deeply about those around him, particularly his family and in a letter that can be found HERE, he writes about the joy he has in being an instrument in his uncle's conversion as he prepared to leave this world for the next. This is a reminder to pray for those who are dying, as well as those who have already died and await the Kingdom.
Father also mentioned a video by Bishop Robert Barron on Blessed Pier Giorgio. You can find that video HERE.
Let us remember to strive to be like Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati and all the Saints in our own journey, so that we, like them, can achieve what we were made for- to live eternally in the presence of God.
