Important Announcement re: Mission Co-op

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT- re: Mission Co-op Collection

Thank you so much to Mother Milagros for coming to speak to us at all our Masses about her order, The Missionary Sisters of the Holy Face, as part of the Mission Co-op program. The mission co-op program, sponsored in co-operation with the Archdiocese of Toronto, allows approved representatives from other countries, whose apostolates are in need of financial assistance to speak to our parishes to get this help.

It has come to our attention, that there was confusion with yesterday's second collection. For those who use the weekly donation envelopes, the envelope that was in the box was for the Canadian Missions Collection, which was moved to this coming weekend of August 17/18. An announcement was made in a previous bulletin and Mission co-op envelopes were made available in the bulletins as there was no Mission co-op envelope included in the box of envelopes.

We must forward donations placed in the Canadian Missions envelopes to the Canadian Missions. We are aware that many of you had intended for the second collection to help Mother Milagros' apostolate. If this was the case, please help us to rectify this situation and please take one of these courses of action:

You may still give to the mission co-op next weekend. Please take an envelope from the foyer and put your envelope number on the envelope. Your donation from last week will automatically then go to Canadian Missions.
If your donation from last weekend was intended for Mother Milagros and the Mission Co-op, and you would like it to remain this way, please either:

1. DM our messenger with your name and envelope number and state that you would like your last weekend's donation to go to the Mission Co-op
2. Email the parish at stjohntheevangelistwe@archtoronto.org with your name and envelope number and state that you would like your last weekend's donation to go to the Mission Co-op
3. Call the parish at 416-241-0133, leave a message with your name, your envelope number and state that you would like your last weekend's donation to go to Mission Co-op

No action is needed if you did not use an envelope last week.

We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this has caused, but please help us to ensure that we help Mother Milagros and her order.
