CATECHESIS TIME - THE COMPEDIUM OF THE CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

Posted : Oct-25-2020

Catechesis time! This week during the homily this weekend, I encouraged you to go deeper into learning about our faith and in doing so, know God more fully. A wonderful tool to help do this is the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Written in a question and answer summary fashion and using less technical language, it covers what is written in the Catechism of the Catholic Church in an easier read. It is written in a way where it always refers to the original Catechism paragraph by number and then summarizes the paragraph in a succint manner. Reading the Compedium is a wonderful way to study what the Catholic Church teaches and believes- consider bookmarking the Vatican compendium page. Find compendium on the Vatican website, here.

If you would like to study the full Catechism, it can be found here.
