Earlier this evening, the provincial government announced that it has deployed the “emergency brake” and will be moving Simcoe County to the Grey (Lockdown) designation as of Monday, March 1, 2021. Grey Zone restrictions (limit of no more than 10 people in the church at any time including the celebrant) should be implemented in Simcoe County churches as of Monday.

Holy Communion Services may continue on weekends with parishes encouraged to open the church each day for a period of private prayer. Parishes may also offer services via livestream.

Parishes in York, Durham and Orangeville remain in the Red (Control) designation with 30% capacity while Toronto and Peel are still under a stay-at-home order, restricting attendance to no more than 10 people inside the church at any time.

Parishioners are reminded that the provincial government discourages travel in and out of lockdown areas.

Thank you for your patience as we adapt to the fluid situation.
